Linus Carlsson joins Team Latitude 64°
We are happy to announce our latest addition to Team Latitude 64°. Swedish Linus Carlsson is only 22 years old, but already one of the highest rated players in the world.
“Joining Latitude 64 means that I can focus on disc golf full time for the first time in my life, and to play with discs from a Swedish brand and represent both them and my country on the US tour feels great”, says Linus.
Linus Carlsson has already gathered some impressing merits in Sweden and in Europe. He has won the Swedish Championships twice in a row (2020 and 2021) and he finished at 2nd place at the 2021 European Championships. As of today he has a PDGA rating of 1035, and now he is ready to play the big events in the US.
– Playing on the US tour feels like a big step in the right direction for my disc golf career. Having disc golf as my full time profession has been my dream since I started playing, says Linus.
What’s are your plans and goals for this season?
“For 2022 I will spend about seven months in the US, and the first Disc Golf Pro Tour event will be at the Las Vegas Challenge. I have several goals, but the big goal I have for 2022 is to win at least one big event”, says Linus.
Linus has already spent some time at the Latitude 64° headquarters, so keep your eyes open for some nice Youtube videos coming out next week!
